Stage Overview
A standard Star Fox campaign visits seven stages from this list of sixteen before the Venom finale. Vehicle type, boss encounter, and exit conditions change based on your route choices. The table below is the authoritative reference for planning Easy, Medium, and Hard paths on Nintendo Switch 2.

Stages by Route Tier
Easy Route Stages
Corneria, Meteo, Fichina, Sector X, Titania, Bolse, Venom — seven missions with no stealth or underwater segments. Ideal for learning Arwing controls and first medal attempts on Normal difficulty.
Medium Route Stages
Corneria, Meteo, Katina, Solar, Macbeth, Bolse, Venom — or swap Macbeth for Area 6 via the train shortcut. Introduces Bill Grey on Katina and heat management on Solar before the industrial Macbeth set piece.
Hard Route Stages
Corneria, Sector Y, Aquas, Zoness, Sector Z, Area 6, Venom II — seven missions with the highest medal totals (Zoness 250, Area 6 200). Requires Landmaster-free routing except when you deliberately drop to Katina after low Sector Y hits.
Exit Condition Details
Exit conditions evaluate at the mission results screen. Hidden objectives — stone arches, warp rings, buoy counters, pillar health, switch hits — display in the debrief with checkmarks. Failed optional routes still award stage clearance but lock the branch for that playthrough.
Corneria arches appear after saving Falco; Peppy marks the final arch if you acknowledge his radio call. Meteo warp rings glow gold and must be entered in sequence before the Crusher fight. Fichina pillar defense requires all generators above 50% health when the timer hits zero. Zoness buoys increment a stealth counter visible in the HUD; detection triggers if any searchlight fully scans your Arwing.
Vehicle and Boss Notes
Landmaster stages (Fichina, Titania) use ground medal rules — see vehicle controls. Aquas is the sole Blue-Marine mission. All-range bosses (Shogun, Sarumarine, Bolse core) allow free flight within an invisible arena boundary; on-rails segments return during approach corridors.
Venom and Venom II share opening corridors but diverge after the tunnel breach. Venom II inserts a Star Wolf squadron battle before Andross transforms into his true brain form. Normal Venom faces Golemech first — a mechanical prelude absent on the true path.
Use the route planner with this table when coaching co-op partners or planning Expert medal marathons. Challenge mode adds bonus objectives to many of these stages without altering exit logic.
